Spiced Apple and Nut Pie.

I was looking in my fridge and saw a few green apples that needed to be eaten soon. So I decided to try to make some kind of dessert. I took some graham crackers and butter for a crust. I took the apples peeled and chopped the up. Cooked them in butter on the stove then added brown sugar and some trail mix I had. (The mix had sunflower seeds, peanuts, almonds, raisins and dates.) I also added cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. I then baked it all together for maybe 30 minutes, served it warm with some ice cream. It was sooooo good!

I love being able to look in my kitchen and throw something great together with out a recipe book!

My iPod Story.

This is a kind of funny story, so yesterday (the 17th) was my 32nd birthday, no I don’t feel old yet, and my dad had sent me some money. I went to Target to get some kind of Mp3 player. I looked at a few and really wanted a Zune or iPod, but I did not have enough money for either so I bought a Phillips brand mp3 player. When I got home I had a few packages from ups to open. I look at the first one and don’t recognize the sender. I open it and inside is a brand new red 8GB iPod Nano from my dad for Christmas!! The cool thing about the Red Nano is the memory is doubled from the 4GB to 8GB plus they donate $10 from each iPod Red Nano sale to Global Fund to fight Aids in Africa. Cool! Now I can bring the mp3 player I bought back and get a docking station.
