Baby Carriers a Must Have for New Moms

While I was carrying my 4 year old I couldn’t help but to think of when she was a small easy to carry baby! I always hated carrying around their bulky heavy car seats/ baby carriers. Instead I carried them around in a front pack (or soft pack) or a sling. With my first baby I only had a front pack carrier and it worked but was hell on my back. With my second baby I got a hip carrier and it was cool when my baby was older but not so good when she was a newborn. Then with my third baby I had a sling, it was awesome but not adjustable and I’m not sure I had the right size!

If I had a baby now I know what baby carrier I would get this time, I would get a Wrap style like the EllaRoo Wrap  from La Stella Blu.

Wraps:
A wraparound carrier, or wrap, is the simplest baby carrier. It is a long piece of fabric that is used to tie the baby to you. It has been used across the globe in many cultures because of the versatility and simplicity. Wraps are one of the most comfortable baby carriers for you and your baby. There are hundreds of ways to wrap your baby, so there is a carry style for everyone. Weight is evenly distributed across your shoulder, back and waist.

La Stella Blu has many different styles of baby carriers including Wraps, Soft Packs, Pouches (slings). They also have baby clothes and natural toys.

I would love to figure out how to make a baby sling wrap work. They always look so cool in the pictures, but I've never had much success. I'm a tiny person, though, and my babies have been big. That's probably part of the problem.

I was never fond of any of the front carriers or slings I tried, but many of my friends just loved them! Rhonda at www.afriendlywelcome.com
