I guess I’ll start with a Happy New Year to you! We’ve all been sick this week so hubby and I had no plans last night. I ended up going out with some girlfriends to go see Joan Jett and the Emerald Queen Casino. She still rocks!! So this morning while the hubby and I where laying in bed the girls where out in the living room watching tv. (I know, bad mom for using the tv as a babysitter, let’s get over it ok?) Well while the kids where being good and quite my 4 year old Lily was giving her self a new hair cut. (Damn tv was not doing it’s job! lol)

New Year = New Hairdo?
Her hair was as long as the hair in the back. She only cut the sides. At least she did not cut above her ears

OMG!!! My dd did this over the summer! Luckily she only did one side and her hair is so long and curly it has finally grown out to look somewhat normal. I was SO mad when she did it--I thought my blood was boiling. Oh well, guess that is just what little girls do, right?!?
Been there! Only my daughter did it under the care of an actual paid babysitter and she cut her bangs to the scalp. Took for ever to grow back! UUUGGHH
Oh your lucky she didnt go cut the whole way to her scalp like my daughter did LOL....but its still awful to have happen....those girls!
She is beautiful no matter what the haircut...that is soooo cute..

You have a sweet site...da
OMG!! My niece did this once when she was about that age. Except she cut it above the ear and very close to the scalp.
I bet a really cute little cut can be created out of what she started. Maybe a future hairdresser in the making?
Oh my goodness! She is a doll though. At least she didnt cut her bangs...my niece did and it was quite a while until they grew. I also used the tv as a babysitter...I think most of us do.
You can rest assured that you are not alone...2 years ago, when my daughter was 4 (funny how it seems to be 'that' age), I had mentioned that I needed to trim her bangs...when I went upstairs to do a quick load of laundry (letting her watch TV, of course!) I came back down maybe 1/2 hour later to a 'Look, Mama! My bangs aren't in my eyes anymore!' She had cut it almost exactly the way your daughter cut hers - only she cut her bangs really short...not to the scalp, but short enough!
I put the pictures in my 'happy birthday' post if you want to check them out here:

Luckily I was able to trim it to look like a cute bob (aside from the ultra-short bangs that is!) so I bet you'll be able to work wonders with your daughter's hair and it will look just as cute as she already does! ;) She is absolutely adorable!
LOL My oldest did this numerous of times! Drove me nuts!
At least it's managable!! Mine cut hers so short in the front that she didn't even have bangs, just stubble!!! LOL!!! Gotta love those little ones...
What did you do after you found her hair like that? Did you have to cut the rest off to make it even?
My kids love cutting with scissors, but so far the only thing they've cut is paper and their clothing. No hair yet, but I'm sure that day is coming.
Yea, I did end up cutting it even. I might even show a pic later in a post. :)
