I find this totally amusing; parents are up in arms over Barbie Totally Stylin Tattoos Barbie Doll.

So what’s the problem? Personally I don’t see one. It’s not like the tats are of skulls and evil clowns. They are butterflies, hearts, bunnies and girly things. Kids have been putting of temporary tattoos for years! We find them in gum or those annoying quarter machines at the doors of grocery stores, you know the ones that your kids see and ask for a quarter every time you go by one.
You can bet my girls will want this for their upcoming birthdays and yes I will be getting it for them. They already want tattoos but know they have to wait till they are much, much older. (I’d rather let them kid them professionally done, then have some dude give them a “homemade one” trust me I know how those turn out. Yeh I was a

There's always a few people out there that will find something wrong with just about everything!
My kiddo wants this too. I don't see anything wrong with it either.

Hi!
Just stopping by to say "HELLO!".
Have a great day and TGIF!
Well you can only please some of the people some of the time. I think this is a great idea for a toy. Nothing wrong with encouraging self expression in a child.
*I* want that barbie!
My husband and I are in the freight forwarding business (Imports). A ton of our freight comes through Tacoma. Is that where you work?
When's the last time you saw Barbie acting conservative? Must have been when she had that live-in boyfriend, what's his name?...oh yeah, Ken. Thanks for the post :)
I certainly don't get what everyone's up in arms about, either. But then again, I don't think the new Dora's anything to whine about, either!
How funny. :) I had to laugh over this one.
That's pretty funny!
BTW...just grabbed your button!!
I understand wanting to protect our children but some just take it too far. My kids have been sporting tattoos since...forever. My MIL scrubs them off on the way to church on Wednesdays which only makes me put new ones on in time for the following Wednesday:)
It's about time Barbie sported some ink!
My daughter hasn't asked for it yet but it's only a matter of time. As for my kids getting tatts or pierced I just keep asking if they want to and I'll bring them to the parlor myself. They are scared to death to "violate" there bodies. I like my tatts and have no problem if my kids get one when they are adults. At this rate they will never get one however.
That is too funny! What's the big deal....
I so want that Barbie! Maybe I'll let my daughter play with it now and then.
