I guess there is some talk in the mom blogger world about how mommy blogging is changing. To some extent I agree and disagree. It seems that it’s being noticed that there are so many bloggers only out to make a few extra dollars and score some free stuff. The writing, it’s being said, is going downhill. I’m not sure anything is changing that much. When I started blogging 4 years ago the main difference was there where not as many bloggers on the net as there is now. There was still bad writing. Moms where starting blogs to make money and to market their business, we just did not have the paid posts or at least not as many people doing it. (I’m not saying every mom blogger blogs for money or freebies, I’m sure some do it for a social outlet) Now I think it’s just that we have sooooo many bloggers that it’s getting harder to wade threw the muck and find the quality.
I’ll be honest, I blog for recognition, money and free stuff, but I have my lines drawn. I don’t whore my blog out for just anyone, and I refuse to do “Paid Posts”. I won’t do a review if the products do not meet my expectations. I also don’t like to read blogs that do “Paid Posts” and for the most part, even if you’re sneaky, I can spot it.
What I really want to try to do for this blog is have a good mix of content. I don’t want to get stuck just doing product reviews, or giveaways.I guess ultimately we all have the option to read or not read the blogs we want and to post or not post what we want.

I agree with you. Reviewing a product which you don't believe is just like fooling yourself.
I like you site.

I totally agree with you about the blogging for money. It is just like writing a book. You do it because you love the writing.
I am here from the MBC showing somme comment love and dropping you on EC.
